When I heard of this tragic event I had tears in my eyes! Ihave known Stephen since the 80's when he was the Chairman of the IEC Southern Region. He helped me with getting memebrship and I then succeeded him in that role. he was a motivator, mentor and a great guy to have listen to you.
When he came to Melbourne he would call me and we would have a drink.
Often he would ask me if I was happy where I was and he said there is always room for you in Hill McGlynn.

I am so proud of my son who started Hill McGlynn in Christchurch all those years ago. He was such a caring son and will be greatly missed by the family. No longer will I hear the greeting "Hi Pops". Many people in our North Devon village of Lee where Stephen was born have sent their condolences.
